CONTRAINDICATIONS

Please consult your doctor or avoid booking if you currently have or recently experienced any of the following:

  • Eye or skin infections (e.g. blepharitis, conjunctivitis, stye, herpes, boils, open wounds, ringworm, lice)

  • Eye surgeries — including laser eye surgery or blepharoplasty within the past 12 months

  • Recent illness — such as cold or flu

  • Chronic eye conditions — allergies, watery eyes, dry eyes, or frequent styes

  • Unexplained lumps or bumps around the eye area

  • Claustrophobia — unable to keep eyes closed for long periods

  • Medical conditions: cancer (doctor’s note required), epilepsy, asthma, hay fever, metal allergies, trichotillomania

  • Recent semi-permanent eyeliner — must be fully healed for at least 4 weeks

PRE-CARE — BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT

To ensure the best lift and longest-lasting results:

  1. Arrive with clean lashes — no mascara, eye makeup, or oily residue.

  2. Avoid caffeine for at least 4 hours prior — it can cause eye twitching.

  3. Shower before your appointment (lashes must stay dry for 24 hours afterward).

  4. No alcohol before your appointment.

  5. Do not curl your lashes before coming in.

  6. Wait at least 6 weeks between lash lifts.

  7. Avoid pulling or removing lash extensions beforehand — it can cause bald spots or gaps.

POST CARE — AFTER YOUR LASH LIFT + TINT

FIRST 24 HOURS — AVOID

The first 24 hours are crucial for your new lift to set properly. Avoid:

  • Steam and moisture (sauna, showers, facials, cooking steam)

  • Heat exposure (blow dryers close to face)

  • Cleansers, eye creams, or makeup around the eyes

  • Rubbing, touching, or sleeping face-down on your lashes

These may weaken the bonds and cause your lashes to lose shape or become uneven.

AFTER 24 HOURS — DAILY CARE & MAINTENANCE

Once your lashes have set, you can resume your normal routine while keeping them healthy and lifted longer:

  • Condition daily with natural oils like castor or coconut oil.

  • Brush gently with a clean spoolie to keep lashes neat and glossy.

  • Avoid rubbing your eyes or sleeping face-down to prevent lash distortion.

You may now also:

  • Use mascara (optional — most clients don’t need it).

  • Use oil-based skincare or removers freely.

  • Continue with lash serums or conditioners as usual.

MAINTENANCE

  • A lash lift only affects the lashes that were processed — as new lashes grow, the curl will naturally fade.

  • Re-lift every 6–8 weeks depending on your natural lash cycle.

  • Re-tint every 4–6 weeks if you also tinted your lashes during the lift.
